Project info: This was done in my spare time to learn more about Modo. It is my first automotive modeling and rendering project. I only used Photoshop and Modo. Let me know if you like it or not by giving a thumbs up or leaving a comment. Thanks!
Fun Facts: This is a 1931 Duesenberg Model J Weyman "Taper Tail" Speedster. In the 1930's the Duesenberg was one of the best and most expensive vehicles you could buy. It's acclaimed luxury, performance, and workmanship inspired the phrase "it's a doozy." In a time when an average physician made $3,000 a year, Duesenbergs were selling for as much as $25,000. Unfortunately the Great Depression hit hard, and Duesenberg ceased production in 1937. Much more recently, in August 2018 a Duesenberg SSJ sold for $22 million, making it the most expensive American car ever sold at auction.
